Compared with other reducers, harmonic reducer has the advantages of high precision, high torque, high rigidity and high transmission efficiency. However, the working principle of harmonic reducer also determines that it has many disadvantages. In order to effectively avoid the possible vibration and abnormal noise of harmonic reducer during operation due to assembly errors. Please strictly observe the following precautions for harmonic reducer assembly during assembly.
1. Precautions for wave generator
(1) Please avoid exerting excessive force on the bearing of the wave generator during assembly. The insertion can be performed by rotating the wave generator smoothly.
(2) When using wave generator without Euclidean coupling structure, please pay special attention to control the influence of center offset and skew within the recommended value.
2. Precautions for rigid wheels
(1) Confirm whether the flatness of the mounting surface is good and whether there is skew.
(2) Confirm whether the screw hole is bulged, with residual burrs or with foreign objects.
(3) Confirm whether chamfering and avoidance processing have been carried out on the shell assembly part to avoid interference with the rigid wheel.
(4) After the rigid wheel is assembled to the shell, confirm whether it can rotate and whether there is interference and clamping in some parts.
(5) When inserting the bolt into the bolt hole for installation, confirm whether the position of the bolt hole is correct and whether the bolt contacts with the rigid wheel due to the skew processing of the bolt hole and other reasons, so that the rotation of the bolt becomes heavy.
(6) Do not tighten the bolts to the specified torque at one time. Please temporarily tighten with a force of about 1/2 of the specified torque, and then tighten with the specified torque. In addition, always tighten the bolts in a diagonal sequence.
(7) Pin the rigid wheel may cause low rotation accuracy, so please avoid it as far as possible.
3. Precautions for Flexspline
(1) Confirm whether the flatness of the mounting surface is good and whether there is skew.
(2) Confirm whether the screw hole is bulged, with residual burrs or with foreign objects.
(3) Confirm whether chamfering and avoidance processing have been carried out on the shell assembly part to avoid interference with the flexible wheel.
(4) When inserting the bolt into the bolt hole for installation, confirm whether the position of the bolt hole is correct and whether the bolt contacts with the flexible wheel due to the skew processing of the bolt hole, which makes the bolt rotate heavier.
(5) Do not tighten the bolts to the specified torque at one time. Please temporarily tighten with a force of about 1/2 of the specified torque, and then tighten with the specified torque. In addition, always tighten the bolts in a diagonal sequence.
(6) Confirm whether there is extreme unilateral engagement when combined with rigid wheel. When unilateral offset occurs, it may be due to the center offset or skew of the two components.
