How to solve the problem of early pitting corrosion of reducer. Pitting corrosion must be related to lubricating oil and reducer material. The process in normal use will have certain process specifications. Another problem is the local overload caused by gear contact. The local overload device makes the actual contact stress greatly exceed the allowable contact stress of gear material. Some gears can not reach the complete tooth length, only contact or contact at one end of the tooth, or even diagonal contact.
1、 Influence of material and processing specification
The correct selection of gear material, the matching of service load and the selection and matching of heat treatment hardness are also the reasons affecting the early pitting corrosion.
2、 Influence of lubricating oil
Unreasonable lubrication of gear transmission and improper selection of lubricant are also the reasons affecting early pitting corrosion. Methods to prevent early pitting corrosion of reducer gear:
（1） Reasonably lubricate the transmission of reducer and select appropriate lubricant.
(2) Improve the gear installation accuracy of reduction gear and ensure the contact accuracy of gear.
If the central transmission reducer is assembled and installed without a good investigation, there are probably two asynchronous transmission modes and the unified load effect is poor. In this case, one side of the transmission gear shall not bear the load, and the transmission gear on the other side is overloaded (which can meet twice the design load), which can easily lead to advanced early pitting corrosion on the tooth surface.
