The lubricating oil becomes thinner due to the increase of temperature, which is easy to cause leakage. Most of the faults are that the lubrication of oil is not fully considered in the design of some reducers, that is, when there is less oil, the gear can not be fully lubricated, which will lead to accelerated gear wear. Some vertical installation methods have more such faults. In the vertical installation environment, when it stops running, the transmission gear oil between the motor and the reducer loses, and the gear can not get due lubrication protection.

This is usually because after running for a period of time, the condensate produced after the gear oil temperature rises and cools down is mixed with water. When this happens, you can usually see that the gear oil is emulsified, the bearing is damaged, corroded and so on.
4、 Helical gear reducer operates abnormally, causing great noise and failure
There are two cases here. One is knocking noise, such as obvious irregular meshing. Second, rotation / grinding noise. These two different noises are usually caused by different faults. The latter is mostly bearing damage. The former condition may be gear wear.
